This is a collection of images that I have taken all over Ireland. It is compilation from nine visits to Ireland in 2009-2012, most of which lasted over 3 weeks. Some are “fine art” – taken at the photographer’s optimal times of sunrise and sunset – but many are record images of a beautiful scene or something that screams “Ireland” to me. My hope is to show you Ireland through my eyes.

24 May 2017Hi,
I am about to make a tour from DK to Ireland. And I found a absolut wonderful picture from Killary Harbour with a lot of Rhododendrons in the foreground. It said that Deb Snelson /Getty have the copyright. I would be interested in using this picture in the advertise for the tour, but I cannot find it in your homepage?
I can find a lot of other good pictures. But we want to show the Rhododendron in blossom.
Can you help me
With Kind Regards,

5 Mar 2012Thanks, Deb. I have a Canon EOS 5D Mark I and have been waitiing quite awhile for the Mark III release. It was announced last week! I can’t wait to get one. We should have been talking about photography as Mr. Pfrogner’s lab assistants 🙂

4 Mar 2012Deb,
Fantastic photos. The picture with the boats along the shoreline is wonderful. What camera do you use? Lens? I’m headed to Ireland next September. What are your best recommended locations for photography?

5 Mar 2012Hi Ron! Thanks for the kudos. I use a Canon 5D Mark II at the moment with the Canon 24-105mm f/4L lens, but many of my photos were taken with my previous camera, a Canon EOS 40D (same lens). There are photo opportunities all over Ireland, you really can’t go wrong with any place that you choose. I love County Donegal and the west coast (Counties Galway, Clare, Sligo, Mayo, Kerry) but then my favorite photo may be the lighthouse from County Wexford (east coast) and anywhere in Wicklow lol. You just have to be patient with weather – it changes so rapidly that a dull period can change to the best light of the day! Let me know if you have any more questions, and thanks for visiting!
