Introduction

Introduction: Welcome to the photo gallery and blog featuring the award winning fine art photography of Deb Snelson! I combine my educational background in geology, love of travel, and passion for photography to create images that I hope convey a sense of place and wonder in the beauty of the world. My specialty is “low light” (dawn and dusk) scenic landscapes. That love includes images of pure nature but also landmarks and towns before dawn or after sunset with the deepest blue sky and light shining from windows and lampposts. The greatest thrill is for something extraordinary to happen – sunbeams, lightning, starbursts – to add the extra element of surprise. I have been traveling for years (full time photographer since 1999) and the number of galleries keep growing – they are organized in this website by place. I hope you have the time to dig down into the various albums and galleries that I have created to discover joy and to rejoice, as I did during capture, in the beauty of this planet.
