I love the traditional cottages of Ireland. Some with thatched roof, others made of stone, and most with brightly painted half-doors and window trim – red seems the most often used color but many other colors are found. I spotted these two cottages in County Clare just yesterday on the drive back to Dublin from Ogonnelloe which is just north of Killaloe on the County Clare side of Lough Derg.
